Formula / calculation logic
Remaining time = Target date/time − Current date/time.
Worked example
If the target is 2 days and 3 hours ahead, the result shows the remaining days, hours, minutes and seconds based on the current clock.
Important notes
The result depends on the device clock and local time zone. If the target is already in the past, the calculator reports that instead of showing a misleading negative countdown.
