How to use the Discount Calculator

Formula / calculation logic
Discount amount = Original price × Discount % ÷ 100. Final price = Original price − Discount amount.
Worked example
A 20% discount on 100 saves 20 and leaves a final price of 80 in the selected currency.

Frequently asked questions
Does this convert currencies?
No. The currency selector only labels the values; no exchange-rate conversion is performed.
Can a discount exceed 100%?
The calculator accepts a mathematical percentage, but a commercial discount above 100% is generally not meaningful.
